Spread the Love
Make a Difference
Hand in Hand 2017
Thursday, April 27 at 7pm
Brookline Teen Center
40 Aspinwall Avenue, Brookline
Registration opens March 27.
All of us experience times in our lives when we could use some extra support. Let’s join hands to spread some love and remind women in need that they are surrounded by a community the cares.
Each participant will assemble at least one “Hand in Hand Basket” for a woman served by the Brookline Center. Baskets and decorations will be provided.
Each participant is asked to bring a selection of (new) personal and pampering items to fill a basket. Have fun putting together a collection of items to brighten a woman’s day. Some suggestions: full size body lotion; hand/foot cream; nice soaps; essential oils; a gift card to a local store (CVS, Walgreen’s, Target, Trader Joe’s, T.J. Maxx, Marshall’s) or restaurant (Dunkin’ Donuts, Starbucks, Panera); candles; teats; mints; lip balm.
Additional details regarding the project will be sent out prior to the event.
A short program and basket making will begin at 7:45pm.
Light refreshments will be served.
If you have questions regarding the event, please call Maggie Ginn at 617-277-8107.
